The Muffin's school athletics carnival is this week, so we decided on a Sports theme for Muffin Tin Monday. Now, this one was a bit of a challenge for us, because with the exception of dance, we're not exactly the most athletic family! But we did our best:
Top Row: Winner's ribbon made from fairy bread (banana flavoured sprinkles); Apple stars; Butterfly cookie (tenuous theme link: one might see a butterfly whilst one is outside playing sport. Oh dear, I know - but The Muffin decorated this cookie herself and really wanted it in the tin).
Bottom Row: String cheese nibblet "Tennis balls" with a tennis player pick (made with a sticker); Yoghurt; Soccer ball Vegemite sandwiches.
Here is a closeup of the Winner's Ribbon:
And here is the After Shot:
She came home really hungry and ready for this snack, and it was full of things she likes, so I wasn't surprised it all went. Not the healthiest tin ever, but you get that - we'll do better next week.
What did you do for Muffin Tin Monday this week? I'm heading over to The Muffin Tin Mom's blog, to find out...

hahaha, I love your tenuous theme link. We get those, too.
Clever way to make a pick yourself.
I think chasing butterflies is a sport!
wow, that tin was devoured! I love it when my kids do that!
I so want that butterfly cookie!!! Yummm!!! :)
Thanks everyone.
JDaniel4's Mom - Ha! I like the way your mind works - yes! Butterfly Chasing is hereby deemed A Sport!!
Michelle - Yes, except I found out later that she ate hardly any of her lunch at kindy, so no wonder the little ratbag was so hungry...
Looks like your daughter likes cookie decorating too! That's fun! I'm not much for sports either but I like dance also :)
